CGT Forum representatives discuss the importance of the CGT forum to their industry and the benefit and value of the Advanced Therapeutics Ireland website to their organisation and Ireland in general.

The Advanced Therapeutics Ireland website is brought to you by the CGT Forum. This Forum is a voluntary cross-sector group, set up several years ago with the aim of making Ireland a global leader in the development, manufacture, supply and adoption of Advanced Therapeutics, including cell and gene therapies, novel vaccines and oligonucleotide-based products. One of the key actions of the Forum was to develop a website that would act as a one-stop portal where anyone can learn about and make connections with a range of companies, academic institutions, researchers, and government agencies operating in this area in Ireland.

Now that the website is launched a cross-section of CGT Forum members talk about the importance and value of the Forum and website to their organisations. Many thanks to our video contributors:

Niall Barron – Principal Investigator, NIBRT

Brian O’Connor – Head of Quality, MeiraGTx Ireland

Marina Hennessy – Wellcome-HRB Clinical Research Facility, St. James’s Hospital

Bertie Daly – Manufacturing Head Cell Therapy, Takeda Grange Castle

Jessica Whelan – Head of School, UCD School of Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering

There are currently over 100 members of the CGT Forum. For more information on CGT Forum’s mission, working groups and joining click here
