The Cryobiology Laboratory Stem Cell Facility is a long established Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA) licensed EU Tissue Establishment for the National Adult Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplant Programme at St James’s Hospital and the largest autologous stem cell processing laboratory for nationally referred patients for autologous transplant. The TE supports the recently established National Adult CAR T Programme with the collection, processing/cryopreservation and shipment (IAA Known Consignor) of autologous lymphocytes for manufacture and receipt/storage & infusion of CAR T product.
