About
Assoc Prof. Susan McDonnell is senior lecturer in Chemical & Bioprocessing in UCD since 2004. She has over 30 years’ experience and expertise in the field of cell culture, and bioprocessing resulting in over 100 publications. She is the director of the MEngSc Biopharmaceutical Engineering programme since its inception in 2006 and has recently been involved in developing a Professional Certificate in Manufacturing of Cell & Gene Therapies and Vaccines. Her research in ATMP is focussed on upstream and downstream processing in cell therapy and gene therapy manufacture.
