The Disruptive Technologies Innovation Fund (DTIF) is a €500 million fund created as part of Project Ireland 2040. It is one of four funds launched under the National Development Plan (NDP) for 2018-2027. Managed by the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment and administered by Enterprise Ireland, DTIF aims to support collaborative industrial research and experimental development projects.
DTIF is designed for partnerships among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), multinational corporations (MNCs), and research-performing organizations (RPOs). These groups work together towards shared goals, driving innovation and technological advancements.
The seventh call for applications is currently open, with submissions accepted through the Enterprise Ireland website. Since its inception, DTIF has awarded over €371 million to 104 innovative projects, demonstrating its significant impact on fostering technological breakthroughs.
