Advanced Therapies Europe 2026, organised by Phacilitate, will take place from 7–9 September 2026 at the InterContinental Barcelona, bringing together leaders from across the advanced therapies sector to discuss the latest developments in cell and gene therapy, regenerative medicine and advanced manufacturing.

The event is expected to welcome around 600 senior industry leaders from more than 40 countries, representing biotechnology companies, pharmaceutical organisations, investors, CDMOs, regulators, research institutions and technology providers. Alongside its conference programme, the meeting places a strong emphasis on business partnering, with more than 1,000 pre-arranged one-to-one meetings anticipated throughout the three-day event.

This year’s programme will explore many of the key issues shaping the future of advanced therapies in Europe, including:

  • Scaling manufacturing from clinical to commercial production
  • Regulatory strategy and market access
  • Investment and financing for emerging biotech companies
  • Technology transfer and supply chain resilience
  • Process development and manufacturing innovation
  • Patient access and commercial adoption of ATMPs
  • Strategic partnerships across the advanced therapies ecosystem.

Rather than focusing solely on scientific advances, Advanced Therapies Europe aims to address the practical challenges involved in translating promising therapies into commercially viable and accessible treatments.
